The use of wear-free HeliCoil thread inserts not only repairs the thread but also increases the thread load-bearing capacity.
Application:
1. Drill out the defective thread with the enclosed drill
2. Check the tap and threaded bolt.
3. Cut the holding thread with the special HeliCoil tap.
4. Turn the thread insert into the holding thread.
5. Remove the tang with the tang breaker.
