The shift fork ensures that the gears engage smoothly in the transmission. If it’s worn out, you’ll quickly notice jerky shifting or gears popping out of place. The reinforced version is ideal if you want to replace a worn shift component and restore precise shifting to your scooter. But even for engines with more power, the Polini shift fork is a useful addition, allowing you to use durable components in the transmission that can withstand the increased stress.
